N102659 May 7, 2010 CLA-2-38:OT:RR:NC:2:239 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 3824.90.9290 Mr. Ralph Natale American Shipping Co., Inc. 250 Moonachie Road Moonachie, NJ 07074 RE: The tariff classification of Lipobead Green-T from France Dear Mr. Natale: In your letter dated April 21, 2010, on behalf of your client Lipo Chemicals Inc., you requested a tariff classification ruling for Lipobead Green-T, a chemical mixture composed of lactose, cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and chromium hydroxide green. You state that this product will be used as an additive in body cleansers, hair and foot care products, and gels. The applicable subheading will be 3824.90.9290, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Chemical products and preparations of the chemical or allied industries (including those consisting of mixtures of natural products), not elsewhere specified or included: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other. The rate of duty will be 5 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
