One subject style has been submitted with the request. Submitted Style 300105530 is an infants’ layette set consisting of a long sleeve bodysuit, hat and teddy bear rattle. The coverall and hat are made of cotton pique fabric. The coverall has a partial front two button opening that fastens left over right, a shirt collar, long sleeves with rib knit cuffs and long legs with rib knit cuffs and a six metal snap opening at the crotch and legs interior. The sock hat is made of the same fabric as the coverall. The plush rattle has a fabric covering and resembles a small teddy bear with a blue ribbon neck tie. The gift set pieces are packaged in a rectangle shaped rigid cardboard box with sectional compartments for the components. A clear plastic film window on the box lid permits the contents to be viewed. The samples will be returned to you as requested. The applicable subheading for the coverall will be 6111.20.6070, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for babies’ garments and clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted, of cotton, other, other, other, other. The duty rate is 8.1 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the hat will be 6505.90.1515, HTSUS, which provides for hats and other headgear, knitted or crocheted, other, of cotton, flax or other, knitted, of cotton, for babies. The duty rate is 7.9 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the plush rattle will be 9503.00.0080, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other toys; reduced-size ("scale") models and similar recreational models, working or not; puzzles of all kinds; parts and accessories thereof: Other: Other. The rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
