Box 1028 Gonzales, LA 70707 RE: The tariff classification of Baby Bottle Cover from China Dear Ms. Mayard: In your letter dated April 28, 2009, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The submitted sample is a baby bottle cover that keeps the contents warm or cold. It is constructed of neoprene rubber covered on both surfaces with knit textile fabric; this construction is considered a textile fabric for tariff purposes. Laying flat it measures approximately 6” x 3½” and is sewn into a shape to hold a baby’s bottle. It is a solid color with a contrasting binding around the opening where the bottle is inserted. The applicable subheading for the baby bottle cover will be 6307.90.9889, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other made up textile articles, other. The rate of duty will be 7% ad valorem. There are no quota restrictions or visa requirements for merchandise classified in subheading 6307.90.9889, HTSUS.
