The subject product, AGN 203818, is an adrenergic-agonist indicated for the potential treatment of neuropathic pain. It is currently in phase II clinical trials. The applicable subheading for the AGN 203818 will be 2933.29.2000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “"Heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only: Compounds containing an unfused imidazole ring (whether or not hydrogenated) in the structure: Other: Aromatic or modified aromatic: Other: Drugs.” The rate of duty will be 6 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
