A3-369B Hoffman Estates, IL 60179 RE: The tariff classification of a men’s woven shirt from Bangladesh Dear Mr. Walton: In your letter dated November 13, 2008, you requested a tariff classification ruling. As requested, your sample is being returned. Item MF9ST13014YM is a men’s shirt constructed from 100% cotton, solid color, woven poplin fabric. Item MF9ST13014YM has a spread collar, a full front opening with a double closure consisting of a full zipper under a left-over-right placket with eight snap closures, two inset pockets on the chest with flaps and snap closures, pointed front and rear yokes, long sleeves with snap closures on the vents and on the cuffs, and a curved hemmed bottom. The shirt will be imported in sizes S - XL. The applicable subheading for Item MF9ST13014YM will be 6205.20.2066, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for men’s or boys’ shirts, of cotton, other: other: other: other: men’s. The duty rate will be 19.7% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
