N016564 September 12, 2007 CLA-2-62:RR:NC:TA:360 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 6206.40.3030 Ms. Stacy Bauman American Shipping Company 250 Moonachie Road Moonachie, NJ 07074 RE: The tariff classification of a woman’s blouse from China Dear Ms. Bauman: In your letter dated August 24, 2007, you requested a classification ruling on behalf of Dress Barn Inc. Your sample will be returned. Submitted sample, style #6025, is a woman’s blouse constructed from knit and woven fabrics. The woven fabric is composed of 100% polyester and the ribbed knit fabric is composed of 78% silk, 20% nylon and 2% spandex. The bodice and sleeves are woven and the lower portion is knit. The pullover garment is collarless and features a v-neckline, ¾ length sleeves and an empire waist. The applicable subheading for the style 6025 will be 6206.40.3030, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for women’s or girls’ blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses: of man-made fibers: other: other: other: women’s. The duty rate will be 26.9 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
