Box 888197 Kentwood, MI 49588-8197 RE: The tariff classification of a women’s knit pullover from Pakistan. Dear Ms. Broker: In your letter dated January 6, 2007, you requested a tariff classification ruling on behalf of Fabri-Tech. As requested, your sample will be returned. Style #07grs is a women’s pullover garment constructed from 100% polyester, finely knit pile fabric that is napped on the inside and outside surfaces. The fabric measures more than nine stitches per two centimeters counted in the horizontal direction. Style #07grs is cut and sewn and features a round neckline, large embroidered stitching on the neckband; long, hemmed sleeves; and a straight, hemmed bottom with side slits. The applicable subheading for Style #07grs will be 6110.30.3059, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, (HTSUS), which provides for: sweaters, pullovers, sweatshirts, waistcoats (vests) and similar articles, knitted or crocheted: of man-made fibers: other: other: other: other: other: women’s or girls’: other. The rate of duty is 32% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
