You submitted a sample plus components of style CB6222-B58213(2), a women’s knit v neck pullover, made of 100% acrylic fabric that measures more than 9 stitches per 2 centimeters counted in the horizontal direction. The garment features a v neck, long sleeves, and rib knit cuffs and waistband. Your sample will be returned as you have requested. Statistical Note 6 to Chapter 61 requires, among other things, that the components of a garment be knit to shape. The back panel of the garment, while having a self start bottom, self finished sides, and fashion marks for the armholes, does not have a continuous line of demarcation for the neckline. The applicable subheading for style CB6222-B58213(2) will be 6110.30.3059, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for sweaters, cardigans…and similar articles, knitted or crocheted: Of man-made fibers: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other: Women’s or girls’: Other. The duty rate will be 32% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. Style CB6222-B58213(2) falls within textile category designation 639. Quota and visa status are the result of international agreements that are subject to frequent renegotiations and changes.
