Import Dept 733IMP; A3: 330A/A 3333 Beverly Road Hoffman Estates, IL 60179 RE: The tariff classification of an outerwear garment from Pakistan Dear Ms. Bailey: In your letter dated March 8, 2006 you requested a classification ruling. Submitted style KF6CRB1298BB/1299BB, that you state is for boys’ wear, is an unlined garment, manufactured from fleece fabric of 82% cotton/18% polyester, characterized by a full-front, zippered opening, by a rib-knitted waistband and cuffs of long sleeves, by a hood, and by an open pocket at the lower portion of each of the fronts. As you have requested, the sample garment is being returned. The applicable subheading for this style will be 6101.20.0020, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for …boys’…anoraks…windbreakers and similar articles, knitted…, other than those of heading 6103, of cotton, boys’. The duty rate will be 15.9 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
