As requested, your samples are being returned to you. Style A53440 is a comprised of four women’s knit garments. Each of the garments is constructed from 100% cotton knit fabric. The outer surface of the fabric of each garment measures more than nine stitches per two centimeters in the direction in which the stitches were formed. The two pullovers feature long hemmed sleeves and hemmed bottoms. One of the pullovers has a V-shaped neckline and the other features a round neckline. The cardigan features a hood, a full front zippered opening, long hemmed sleeves and a hemmed bottom. The pants feature an elasticized waistband and hemmed leg openings. The applicable subheading for the pullovers and the cardigan of style A53440 will be 6110.20.2075, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for sweaters, pullovers, sweatshirts, waistcoats (vests) and similar articles, knitted or crocheted: of cotton: other: other: other: women’s. The duty rate will be 16.5% ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the woman’s pants of style A53440 will be 6104.62.2011, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for women’s or girls suits, ensembles, suit-type jackets, blazers, dresses, skirts, divided skirts, trousers….. knitted or crocheted: trousers, bib and brace overalls, breeches and shorts: of cotton: other: trousers and breeches: women’s: other. The applicable duty rate will be 14.9% ad valorem. The pullovers and the cardigan of style A53440 fall within textile category designation 339.
