Dear Mr. Gat: In your letter dated September 25, 2003, you requested a tariff classification ruling. Samples and pictorial literature were submitted with your letter. The samples were examined and disposed of. Item no. SP-205614 is comprised of a bottle of barbecue sauce, a brush, and a steel “dish”. Item no. SP-205614A contains Pineapple Chili Grill sauce, item no. SP-205614B contains Asian Spice Rib sauce, and Item no. SP-205614C contains Southwest Spice sauce. The “dish” is made out of steel, lined with a plastic insert, and shaped like a bucket with a diameter of approximately 4-3/4 inches. The applicable subheading for the barbecue sauces will be 2103.90.9091, HTS, which provides for sauces and preparations therefor…other…other…other. The rate of duty will be 6.4 percent. The applicable subheading for the steel bucket will be 7323.99.9030, HTS, which provides for table, kitchen or other household articles, of iron or steel, other, not coated or plated with precious metal…other…other…kitchen or tableware suitable for food or drink contact. The rate of duty will be 3.4 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the brush will be 9603.90.8050 HTS, which provides for brooms, brushes…other…other…other. The rate of duty will be 2.8 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of the ruling or the control number indicated above should be provided with the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
