You submitted five samples of men’s pants and shorts, all identified by style numbers. Your samples will be returned as you have requested. Style 105-652-359 is a man’s woven pant made from 91 percent cotton and 9 percent polyester. The garment has two front side pockets located at the hip area with a zippered front closure and a button at the waistband. The garment has two rear pockets, both with a one button closure. Style 105-242-191 is a man’s woven pant made from 60 percent cotton and 40 percent polyester. The garment has two front side pockets located at the hip area with a zippered front closure and a button at the waistband. The garment has a partial elastic waistband and two rear pockets, both with a one button closure. Style 200-979-221 is a man’s woven short made from 59 percent cotton and 41 percent nylon. The garment has two front side pockets located at the hip area with a zippered front closure with a button at the waistband. The garment has two rear pockets, both with hook and loop fabric tape closures. Style 200-924-339 is a man’s woven short made from 100 percent micro polyester. The garment has two front side pockets located at the hip area, and a zippered front closure with a buttoned waistband. It also features two rear pockets with one button closures. Style 200-925-322 is a man’s woven short made from 50 percent lyocell and 50 percent polyester. The garment has two front side pockets located at the hip area with a zippered front closure with a button at the waistband. The garment also has two rear pockets, both with one button closures. The duty rate will be 28.4 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for style 200-925-322 will be 6203.49.2045, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for men’s or boys’ trousers, bib and brace overalls, breeches and shorts, of other textile materials, of artificial fibers, trousers, breeches and shorts, other, other, shorts, men’s. The duty rate will be 28.4 percent ad valorem. Styles 105-242-191, 105-652-359, and 200-979-221 fall within textile category designation 347. Styles 200-924-339 and 200-925-322 fall within textile category designation 647. Based upon international textile trade agreements products of Dominican Republic are subject to quota and the requirement of a visa.
