As indicated by the submitted samples, there are seven types of connectors, in the form of jacks and plugs used in telephone applications. These connectors are identified as AT38-09, AT210-4, AT8x8, AT202-4, AT468, AT630A-6, and AT216-4. A stainless steel faceplate, item AT BK, and a patch panel, item ATPNL 12, are also included. The applicable subheading for the connectors will be 8536.69.8000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for lamp holders, plugs and sockets: Other: Other. The rate of duty will be 2.7 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the faceplate will be 7323.99.9060, HTS, which provides for table, kitchen or other household articles and parts thereof, of iron or steel; …: Other: Other: Not coated or plated with precious metal: Other: Other. The rate of duty will be 3.4 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the patch panel will be 7326.90.8586, HTS, which provides for other articles of iron or steel: Other: Other: Other. The rate of duty will be 2.9 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
