You have submitted samples of eight gloves. Five of these styles, P4-1300G, P4-1400, P4-1500, P4-1200, and P4-1300, are very similar in construction; they are string knit gloves which have reinforcing stitching at the end of the cuff, and are 100% nylon. Style No. P4-1100 is also a string knit glove with reinforcing at the cuff; its fiber content is 70% cotton and 30% polyester. Style No. P4-110002 is identical to P4-1100, except that its palm and back, but not the cuff, are covered with polyvinyl chloride dots. Style No. P4-1300GDI is another string knit glove; it is 100% nylon, and the back of this glove is covered with polyvinyl chloride dots. The applicable subheading for Style Nos. P4-1300G, P4-1400, P4-1500, P4-1200, and P4-1300 will be 6116.93.8800, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for gloves, mittens and mitts, knitted or crocheted: other: of synthetic fibers: other: other: without fourchettes. The rate of duty will be 19.2%. The applicable subheading for Style No. P4-1100 will be 6116.92.8800, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for gloves, mittens and mitts, knitted or crocheted: other: of cotton: other: other: without fourchettes. The rate of duty for this subheading is 9.7%. The applicable subheading for Style No. P4-1300GDI will be 6116.10.5520, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for gloves, mittens and mitts, knitted or crocheted, impregnated, coated or covered with plastics or rubber: other: without fourchettes: other: containing 50 percent or more by weight of cotton, man-made fibers or other textile fibers, or any combination thereof...subject to man-made fiber restraints. The rate of duty will be 13.6%. The applicable subheading for Style No. P4-110002 will be 6116.10.5510, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for gloves, mittens and mitts, knitted or crocheted, impregnated, coated or covered with plastics or rubber: other: without fourchettes: other: containing 50 percent or more by weight of cotton, man-made fibers or other textile fibers, or any combination thereof...subject to cotton restraints. The rate of duty will be 13.6%. The applicable textile category for Style Nos. P4-1100 and P4-110002 is 331. The applicable textile category for Style Nos. P4-1300G, P4-1300GDI, P4-1200, P4-1300, P4-1400, and P4-1500 is 631. This merchandise is subject to visa requirements based on international textile trade agreements. The designated textile and apparel category may be subdivided into parts. If so, visa and quota requirements applicable to the subject merchandise may be affected. Since part categories are the result of international bilateral agreements which are subject to frequent renegotiations and changes, to obtain the most current information available, we suggest that you check, close to the time of shipment, the Status Report on Current Import Quotas (Restraint Levels), an internal issuance of the U. S. Customs Service, which is available for inspection at your local Customs office. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
