Amendment to NY Ruling B84665 dated May, 20, 1997.
NY B87562 July 21, 1997 CLA-2-42:RR:NC:TA:341 B87562 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 4202.92.3030 Ms. Ludene Murphree The Gap, Inc. Two Harrison San Francisco, CA 94105 RE: Amendment to NY Ruling B84665 dated May, 20, 1997. Dear Ms. Murphree: In your letter dated June 6, 1997, you requested an amendment of classification ruling NY B84665, which was issued to you on May 20, 1997 from this office. You brought to our attention an error in the last paragraph on the first page which should be corrected. In the original ruling NY B84665, the last paragraph inadvertently reflected the incorrect style number as 2422286. The correct style number for the travel pouch of 100 percent nylon should read 242286. All other information in the original letter remains the same. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of this supplement and the original ruling letter should be attached to the entry document filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If the documents have been filed without a copy, this ruling should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction. If you have any questions regarding the ruling, contact National Import Specialist Kevin Gorman at 212-466-5893. Sincerely, Paul K. Schwartz Chief, Textiles & Apparel Branch National Commodity Specialist Division
