Dear Mr. Thorpe: This is a supplement to Ruling No. 818579, dated January 30, 1996. The ruling issued to you inadvertently stated that the rate of duty for Sodium D-Isoascorbate (Sodium Erythorbate) would be 4.8 percent ad valorem. Pleased be advised that the correct rate of duty for 1996 will be 3.7 percent ad valorem. All other facts stated in the ruling remain the same.
