Dear Ms. Rice: In NY ruling letter 893985, dated January 27, 1994, Customs made a clerical error in the classification of a woman's jacket and skirt, designated as style 0902/0904. The correct classification for the jacket is 6204.39.3010, HTS, dutiable at 29% ad valorem, textile category designation 635. The correct classification for the pants is 6204.69.3510, HTSA, dutiable at 30.4% ad valorem, textile category designation 648. This supplement should be presented whenever NY ruling 893985 is presented.
