The merchandise is a variety of silver-plated steel, copper, brass and tin household articles. The rate of duty will be 4 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the above items made of brass or copper will be 7418.10.1000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for table, kitchen or other household articles of copper, coated or plated with precious metals. The rate of duty will be 4 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the above items made of tin will be 8007.00.5000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for other articles of tin, other. The rate of duty will be 4.2 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of this ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
