Safety Zone: Staten Island Fireworks, Raritan Bay and Lower New York Bay

The Coast Guard is establishing two temporary safety zones for Staten Island fireworks displays located on Raritan Bay and Lower New York Bay. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on navigable waters during the event. This action is intended to restrict vessel traffic in a portion of Raritan Bay and Lower New York Bay.
