ACTION: Withdrawal of rulemaking actions. SUMMARY: The Department of Justice (“DOJ” or “the Department”) is withdrawing 16 Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (“NPRMs”), Advance Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (“ANPRMs”), and Supplemental Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (“SNPRMs”) as well as 38 other previously announced regulatory actions. The Department is withdrawing these actions as part of the Federal Government's deregulatory initiative and because of ongoing assessments of agency needs, priorities, and objectives.
