The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a special local regulation for certain waters of Henderson Bay. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Henderson Bay, Henderson Bay, NY, during the swimming portion of a triathlon on July 8, 2023. This proposed rulemaking would prohibit persons and vessels from being in the regulated area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector Buffalo or a designated representative.
