Safety Zone: Coast Guard Activities New York Annual Fireworks Displays

Abstract

The Coast Guard proposes to establish 12 permanent safety zones for annual fireworks displays located in the Port of New York/New Jersey. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on navigable waters during the events. This action is intended to restrict vessel traffic in a portion of the affected waterways.
